Palms provides school-age children with a safe, nurturing after-school space to relax, recharge, and reflect. Our program includes healthy snacks, a staffed Homework Room, outdoor play, quiet reading and journaling areas, plus opportunities for art and music exploration. Designed to support diverse interests, Palms ensures a well-rounded and engaging after-school experience.
In order to inspire a fun and enriching summer that involves FUN sprinkled with lots of learning, we must start with the interests of the child. At Palms, we dive into the minds of the children and allow them to design the summer of their dreams. What does this mean? The children tell us what they love and what they wonder about and we bring it to life and make their dreams a reality!
This summer we'll be diving deep into projects that start with the broad base of Architecture and Engineering, Inventions and Simple Machines, and move along to Art and Entrepreneurship. Through the children's curiosity and interests we will explore what is designed, and built with our own hands. We will be celebrating new life as we hatch our own chickens and grow our own vegetables for our salsa and chips for snacks. We will be studying artists and putting together a fabulous art show like no other to showcase our work and talents. We will be adventuring daily and building friendships along the way.
